Actor Danny Trejo's participation in a Sunland-Tujunga, California, Fourth of July parade took an unexpected turn when a seemingly lighthearted moment escalated into a full-blown brawl.

Trejo, who was serving as an honorary guest in the parade, was riding in a vintage car when things went awry. According to reports, a water balloon was playfully thrown at Trejo, striking him in the head. While the initial act might have been intended as harmless fun, it sparked a chain reaction.                                                                 

Trejo exited the car, presumably to confront the perpetrator, and chaos ensued. Witnesses reported flying water balloons, punches being thrown, and people falling to the ground. Trejo's longtime friend, Mario, was also caught in the altercation, sustaining a cut near his eye.

Videos circulating online show a tense situation with bystanders caught in the middle. Thankfully, no serious injuries were reported.                                                                   

Trejo, known for his tough-guy persona on screen, reportedly defended himself and his friend during the brawl. However, some eyewitnesses claim he wasn't the aggressor but reacted out of anger after being struck.

The Sunland-Tujunga parade, meant to be a celebratory community event, was undeniably marred by the sudden violence. Police are still investigating the incident, and it remains unclear what charges, if any, will be filed.
